one man's interesting day is another man's horribly monotonous, mundane day.

I choose the latter.

Scratching at my bedroom door marked the five in the morning bathroom time for my lovely dog, Chai, to need to go through my room, to the backyard to do her business. Except this turns into a whole reception in my room, as she tries to decided if she really wants to brave the cold, or if she'll just soil a new part of the carpeting in the house. Thankfully, she chooses to buck up, and sprint out into the cold. I don't get back to sleep for quite a while, which brings me to.......

I wake up, having had a very realistic and somewhat unnerving dream. The kind that haunts to no end. I guess I made it through my Advanced Photo class, as well as English (sub), Graphic Design (snooze worthy for most, highly interesting for me...we're starting to learn InDesign..YAY!), and then was snapped awake in Gov, excuse me, Econ now because of the second semester. Not only did I zone out, still focused on why I was being so bothered by this dream, we got new textbooks. Joy. So we only used the first heavy text book for a couple chapters, and this one is smaller, so I'm guessing we'll cover, what.....one chapter?
Ridiculous.

Chemistry was alright, but yet again I was reminded that I can get a hold of the more intricate details of chemistry that others find hard, but the moment it comes down to simple equation balancing, I'm boggled.
Yes, boggled. But there's nothing for it I guess.
Design Lab was....Design Lab, and we attempted to draw people's faces.
I drew, I mean, attempted to draw Pocahontas. Don't ask, I just had an urge.
I came home, had my usual Kettle Backyard Barbecue chips and small Redbull and watched a fun low budget movie. Aaron Eckhart, Ian McKellen, and Brittany Murphy all in one film. No wonder it didn't make big bucks.

Macaroni and cheese, and some reading is enough to finish me off.
After posting this I shall finish my game of Freecell, hope that Illustrator's free trial will install, and pray that I won't have any dreams that will haunt me tomorrow.

Driving home from a successful Warped summer. 8/18/08

Currently we're around Bakersfield, and so far my headphones are working out pretty nicely. We broke open the Sun Chips, Nips, and gulped Monsters. We're healthy kids.
I filmed Cathy and Sara rapping along almost flawlessly with Eminem.
Granted my phone fell in a half a foot of water today and then glitched, so far this has been a lovely day.
At this time I would like to thank those that my summer possible and most of all enjoyable.
Mother: I know you know I'm having a good time. Im sleeping so little, but im living the good life.
Sara and Cathy: nothing could've been done without your amazing selves and driving abilities.
Alexander Kent: You're truly an amazingly cool dude that rocks the bass well. We all appreciate everything you've done for us this summer, it will never be forgotten.
Say Anything: words can't describe
Sara's brother: thanks for a place to stay, the carpet was fuzzy and welcoming.
Larry: the good times were had while you were still alive.

Carson Warped Tour 8/17/08

Wake up, pick up the weak link off the day, and head to Sactown.
Start the Motion City discography.
Arrive to an incredibly long line, heart beating at the fact that there might not be vip for today let alone tickets.
After sweating that long line, Cath and I go to the press/guest tent and find we have VIP :] Thanks MusicToday. Mucho score.
Whilst drinking our traditional free Monster of the day, we plan things out for tomorrow. Cathy and I also decided to go watch We The Kings to which we do the We The Kings dance. If you ask, we shall perform it.
I had decided to be a Forever The Sickest Kids fan and wear their shirt....only I had no idea that if your have a VIP wristband and a band shirt on everyone assumes you know exactly where and when they're playing.
Well shit..I didn't even know. But later in the day I realized it was the Ernie Ball.
Highlights of the day:
Shane West shady spot.
Meeting the nice lads from Bidwell.
On stage for Say Anything.
Getting a "hey." from Matt Thiessen.
GIL MANTERA'S PARTY DREAM.
Just search Party Dream.

Mountain View Warped Tour 8/15/08

8:00.
Well that's better than 3:30.
I pack the bags into the rental car and my Mum nicely drives me to Starbucks so that I can break a 20 for BART money. 50 minutes later waiting at the BART station in Fremont to get picked up by Sara and Cathy but find that I'll have to wait for about forty minutes. I plunk down and listen to my biggest "guilty pleasure but technically not because I very openly love them" : Forever The Sickest Kids. I get picked up, take back seat, we get to Mountain View and do the following things in the next hour or two:
Wait in line.
Someone I know yells "Olivia Notter!" at me.
We wait in line.
Cathy, Sara and I pass out free stuff to people that either take it and scoff and throw it away.
We wait in line.
We se Chapstique doing yoga, and we start walking I line.
We score 4 guest passes including free entry and head to the Monster tent where we proceed to drink free Monster and lounge while FFTL plays....creating suicidal thoughts in my head. They're that bad...really.
The usual.
On stage for Say Anything, Larry gets thrown into the crowd and ripped apart.
Low point.

Chula Vista Warped Tour? 8/14/08
