i'm already looking forward to this day and i'm only just at school. after getting up at the usual time, i drank a bunch of tea and found myself incredibly refreshed. i didn't even mind the quiz in algebra, which is surprising because these usually leave me with a sense of failure that clings to me throughout the day. this could possibly be because i know i'm getting treated to a movie by my friend to make up for two years worth of birthdays. i make it through the school day and find ethan after school. we figure why not complete the friend-ness and take adrian with us, and we're off.
gordo's mmmmmmm.
i'm the only one that gets anything, but they get quesadillas when we get to ethan's casa. ethan reminisces over pictures, adrian zones out playing guitar, and me, i just watch both of them and eat the best greasy carnitas burrito ever. we finally head out the door to walk to the bus stop to go to berkeley with the intention of seeing there will be blood, which i particularly don't want to see and know we won't end up seeing due to my amazing manipulative skills. we get there with some crosswalk theatrics from drian and i end up having to bribe them with cookies to see into the wild with one of my favorite actors, emile hirsch. the movie looks pretty amazing itself. i was right. it was amazing.
slightly depressing at the end, but amazing nonetheless.
we feel inspired and walk home from shattuck, and i collapse once home.
